Featuring a portrait of a young General Washington during the war for independence, this sign was originally painted for the Washington Inn & Tavern which dates back to 1744 in the town of Princess Anne, Maryland on the eastern shore. Washington is reported to have stayed at the tavern several times durring his travels through Maryland. The original artwork is hand painted on antique barn wood. Perfect for your kitchen, man cave, pub, tavern or bar. This reproduction of hand-painted original art has the look of a Pub or Tavern Sign from the early 1800s.
This sign measures about 15" by 22" and comes ready to hang. Typically these are for indoor display and not meant for outdoor use. If you would like something for outdoor use, please contact me so we can discuss the details.
