This sign commemorates the first running of the Maryland Hunt Cup race, a Timber race, which is an American Steeplechase. It was first run on May 26 1894 in Hunt Valley, Maryland, an area well known for fox hunting as well as horse racing. The original artwork is hand painted on antique barn wood. Perfect for your kitchen, man cave, pub, tavern or bar. This reproduction of hand-painted original art has the look of a Pub or Tavern Sign from the early 1800s.

This sign measures about 15" by 22" and comes ready to hang. Typically these are for indoor display and not meant for outdoor use. If you would like something for outdoor use, please contact me so we can discuss the details.

Created from an ultra-high resolution scan of the 3-dimentional original then printed with a state-of-the-art UV cured ink jet printing technique. All reproduction pieces are printed on high quality finish-grade 3/4" plywood board for an authentic look and feel.
