Featuring a sly fox on the hunt, the 1812 Fox Tavern is an interpretation of an early tavern sign. I chose the date of 1812 to commemorate America's second battle for independence. The original artwork is hand painted on antique barn wood. Perfect for your kitchen, man cave, pub, tavern or bar. This reproduction of hand-painted original art has the look of a Pub or Tavern Sign from the early 1800s.
This sign measures about 15" by 22" and comes ready to hang. Typically these are for indoor display and not meant for outdoor use. If you would like something for outdoor use, please contact me so we can discuss the details.
Created from an ultra-high resolution scan of the 3-dimentional original then printed with a state-of-the-art UV cured ink jet printing technique. All reproduction pieces are printed on high quality finish-grade 3/4" plywood board for an authentic look and feel.
